In GAA circles

In GAA circles this is very old news. I have no problem with anyones
sexual orientation but why the gory details of one night stands and his
sexual escapades in Asia? It is in the book purely for monetary gain
and has nothing to do with his excellence as a sportsman. He is very
unpopular with GAA fans because of his involvement with the Cork Strike
(which is too tedious to go into here) and absolutely nothing to do
with his being gay. Check out anfearrua.com for GAA fans reaction to
the book and you will find almost all very supporting of his decision
to "come out" but certainly not supportive of his involvement in the
strike and in the GPA. As for the abuse from the terrace, if he was'nt
gay they would be shouting abuse about his wife! I might add that it
was Tipp fans not Limerick fans hurling the abuse.
I get tired of listening
Cuisine, Dague, Enfants, Fimo, Fléau, Flêche, Gambison, Heaume, Humour
I get tired of listening about how great it is for someone to come out
if they're in the public eye. Maybe it's just me but are because i
don't care what your orientation is as long as it's two consenting
adults, i just find the whole thing boring at this stage. Are they're
really people out there that don't accept people because they're queer?
Maybe there is, maybe we have a couple on here.
Good one atof
Good one atof. I think it will be good for the Gay community in general that a top sports star has come out. I noticed that the Irish Daily Mail had him on the front page today going on about how he was abused on the pitch which is a far cry from what the English Daily Mail were writing about at the weekend where one of their "journalists" said that Stephen Gately's death “strikes another blow to the happy-ever-after myth of civil partnerships .
She also wrote “And I think if we are going to be honest, we would have to admit that the circumstances surrounding his death are more than a little sleazy. Whatever the cause of death is, it is not, by any yardstick, a natural one. Let us be absolutely clear about this.
Broderie, Camail, Casque, Chocolat, Corne, Cotte-de-maille, Couture, CrochetEven though he
Even though he is a Cork hurler I must say I have huge respect for Donal Og Cusack since he has come out and said he is gay. It must be incredibly hard for a sportsman to admit this as I can imagine the slagging from opponents etc. I know he is not a professional but hurlers are as good as and I can't think of another top sportsman off Animaux, Anniversaire, Arbalète, Arc, Automne, Baudrier, Bd, Blabla, Blog, Bouclier the top of my head who has come out of the closet in football or rugby or GAA so as the great man Ronan Keating would say
